Jolly Roger Inn & Pier

Been coming here since I was young. Love this pier, rooms are a little expensive but aren't bad looking.

We had a lovely time here the staff was wonderful. Met some really nice people on the pier fishing was great. Bought some ice tea drinks from the store they were outdated not that kind of thing happens. Brought my own. Really is a great little spot try not to miss it. We were not guessed at the end Just Fishing from the pier.

The only issue for service was when ordered food from grill they did not use gloves. There was a box of gloves by grill but did not use them. Other than that everything was great.

Was there Oct 24 weekend, for what I was looking for it easy, simple and complete. Super friendly staff and neighbors. Plus a great little Church across the road, just down the street. Tommyg

I was a little hesitant about this place at first given some of the negative reviews on cleanliness, but my fisherman husband really wanted to try it so we gave it a chance. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. We inspected our room upon arrival and it both looked and smelled clean. The room had all the necessities including a broom for sand and extra blankets. I was told that the Jolly Roger did renovations over the winter and it was clear that the room had been painted and there was not even a hint of mold. The staff were always accommodating and friendly - a little direct, maybe, but always nice. Tasha in particular was wonderful. She recommended our room and offered us a free late check out. The fishing and beach access couldn’t be beat. Our balcony overlooking the surf was lovely and we were able to get to the beach itself the moment we walked out our door. There are a number of great restaurants and an ice cream shop within walking distance which only added to the inn’s convenience and charm. Last thing I’ll say - I think the price was very fair. $170 for a weekend night and then $120 for a week night. Not bad for a beachfront rental. I’d be willing to try this place again.

I am staying in an efficiency room with a balcony facing the ocean at the dunes. It's not crowded so it's very peaceful beautiful sunrise plenty of restaurants within walking distance walkway to the beach over the dunes it's quite nice. And the price is fair although it will be going up as we get closer to the summer.Pay attention to special holiday dates in avoid them so you can save some money and eat out more lol. The lady that's staffing the store Grill area is very nice and friendly as well as the gentleman running the hotel desk. And I had the best seat in America for watching the sunrise

Rooms were very clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming Beautiful ocean and pier views.

This is our second year coming into topsail earlier than our week long room we booked. I really appreciate Jolly Roger’s offering 1 night stays for people like us. We stayed with them last year too. The rate is not bad, the rooms are clean and nice and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend them any day. We have had a beach front room both times which is a bonus as well. Thank you for being so great.
